Only four days left before the first EcoFashionShow in Athens on January,14^th. Athena Bentila shares with us that her impressions on the preparation and emotions such participation means.

MissBlue: How do you feel a few days before DoitEco?

Athina Bentila (Mumu organic): I am very pleased to take part in such an event, and I am even happier that it is organized in Greece. The truth is that until now I had to go overseas to participate in similar events.

How long have you been preparing for the Eco Fashion Show?

Researching the fabric that I wanted took me quite some time. Regarding the inspiration for the piece I designed and its creation, it took me less time although it was something I thought about and dreamed about 24 hours a day.

What do you expect from such event, for you and Mumu οrganic?

What I expect from this organization is recognition and promotion of the company MuMu οrganic but also generally the promotion of organic clothes to the wider Greek public. I believe that it will also be good way for Greek consumers to learn about eco-fashion, on the advantages and benefits that it offers.

What collections will you be pleased to watch at DoitEco?

I will be very pleased to watch all the pieces the designers prepared but I like a lot Georgina Skalidi and her bags.

A few words for the DoitEco Project?

The DoitEco is a very interesting and innovative project for Greece. It is a way for Greeks to learn about eco-fashion and its existence in Greece.

I believe that it will be a success and hope there will be more events like this one in the future in order to give the opportunity to young designers to promote their work and to the public to learn about anything new in the Greek eco-fashion.
