Green yourself, change your behavior and your habits! Make sodium bicarbonate NaHCO3 (or baking soda) your best friend eco-product: cheep (around 2€ in Greece), present in all supermarkets, 100% natural and ecological and has many usages. It is a white powder made from chalk and salt.
Cleaning – Tip 13 Your best friend as multi-usage detergent
If you have read my precedent articles of the “Product’s Zooms”, I regularly call “Baking Soda” a magic potion. Because the usage is so large, that it is really too bad we never learn this kind of stuff anywhere somehow. “Baking Soda” is also a great multi-usage detergent, so don’t throw the empty bottle of your ordinary detergent … Reuse!
Surfing on the internet, looking for receipts and interesting stories about baking soda, I found an interesting information that can really change in your cleaning habits:
Clean-up really well your old detergent’s bottle and fill it with: 1 tablespoon of baking soda, 1 liter of hot water and 2 teaspoons of white vinegar. Use this potion to clean the bathroom, toilets, kitchen surface… In addition by diluting 2 caps of the mix in your bucket with hot water you can clean the floors. Baking soda makes everything shine and eliminates malodors; its anti-bacterial property cleans in depth and lives your home as fresh as new.
You can add a few drops of essentials oils to give your mix a specific smell.
