A workshop for the production of compost with the agronomist-biotechnologist and composting consultant, Christine Chronis, suitable for gardens, parks and balconies, is organized by the environmental organization Aithria (http://www.aithria.org/). The workshop is supported by the Office of the Volunteers of the city of Rhodes and by the Hydro-biological Station of the island. The workshop is addressed to farmers, gardeners, and every citizen who is interested in learning how to produce its own compost. The workshop will include two parts, a theoretical part in a hall and then a practical part to apply what has been learned previously.

Location: Hydro-biological Station of Rhodes.

Date & Time: Sunday 24 February from 11:00am until 14:00pm.

Participation (in order to pay only the transportation expenses of the trainer): 6,00 ευρώ.
